Upcoming Events this Spring

It has been a while since I let you know what I'm up to. So here's the latest in the life of author Beth Vice - that's me!

May 3 and 10: Teaching Women's Bible study in Lincoln City for Pastor Kelli Westmark while she's on vacation. Topic: "He Knows My Name." Session One - How Do You See Yourself? and Session Two: How God Sees You, and Claiming Your New Identity.

May 4, 11, 18, 25: Spark group begins: a weekly get together to read through the Bible in a relaxed setting. No agenda, no homework or doctrinal arguing. Just gathering with friends to see what the Bible says and talk about what it means and how we can apply it to our lives.

May 15: Hosting IF Table: a monthly meeting with six women to share a meal and discuss the four questions of the month. They focus on how we see ourselves, our faith, and what is going on in this season. We're having so much fun we've decided to keep going through the summer!

What I'm writing: I am continuing my work on a divorce recovery book for women, trying to keep up with my blog, Epiphany, and working on lessons for our Growth Group. Our upcoming topic is the book of Revelation. The study for that has been amazing! I am learning so much. Just praying God will enable me to communicate what He wants us to learn and discuss.

And personally: The rest of the month is sprinkled with all kinds of exciting events - family parties, birthdays, baby showers, Mother's Day, company coming, and babysitting my grandsons. Whew! I can hardly keep it all straight.

I am so thankful to be done with a recent surgery for basal cell carcinoma. My face is finally starting to feel like my own again. So grateful for health and God's daily blessings. Now that I'm feeling better I hope to get in more hiking with my husband and yard work in the sunshine. They promise it's coming soon...

I hope you are busy and actively serving the Lord in your corner of the world. He is worth our love, praise, and all our efforts.

Have a blessed May!
